He went west to Minnesota and Alberta at the age of 20 and returned due to ill health about 10 years ago. In Sept. 1915, he married Mary Milliken, who survives. When about twenty years of age he went West, but his health failing he returned to Dalhousie about ten years ago and purchased a farm at Dalhousie Lake, where he had resided until his demise. On September 22nd, 1915, he married Mary Millikin, who survives him. He was a son of the late Daniel Geddes and was one of a family of eleven, of whom nine survive : (Barbara) Mrs. Wm. Legary, Crystal City, Man.; (Agnes) Mrs. Alex.
