Raymond Lee Cagle, Sr. was the son of Jacob Pleasant and Edna Zora Cagle, originally from Mena, Arkansas.

He was retired from the U.S. Army and served in World War II and Korea. He was stationed at several bases around the U.S.A. and over seas.

He married Teena Lucille Robertson 28 Feb 1946 in Taylor County, Texas, USA.

He then married Josephine E. Fine on 22 Feb 1970.

His children were Donna Ray, Patrica Lee, Raymond Jacob, Susan Annette, Debra Lynn, Pamela Jo, Debra Ann, and Raymond Lee Jr.

He retired to Brownwood, Texas and lived there the rest of his life. He enjoyed being around his family and grand children. He enjoyed camping out on the Colorado River for two weeks every summer with his mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and all their children.

He always had something to laugh about and never complained about anything. He always said good things about people when he talked about them. He never said anything if he couldn't say some thing good. He enjoyed serving his country for so many years even though it took him away from his family many times. He was a very good and kind man and is missed very much by everyone who knew him.
