Edna Zora Cagle was born to James Mansell McBee and Mary Josephine (Whitfield) McBee.

She married Jacob Pleasant Cagle on 13 September 1918 in Polk County, Arkansas. They lived in Mena, Arkansas and then moved to Brownwood, Texas.

Their children were:

Sons: Willie "Bub" Cagle, Wayne L. "Tootie" Cagle, Raymond Lee Cagle, Sr., and Billy Gene Cagle.

Daughters: Anna Edina "Dennie" Cagle Martin, Betty Jane Cagle Egger, Sarah Cagle Brooks, Pauline Cagle Whitley, and Mary Cagle Berry.

Jacob and Edna had two sets of twins, Jane and Gene and Sarah and Mary.

She was a devoted housewife all her life and enjoyed all her children and grand children. She and her husband enjoyed camping out each year when all the children would come home. They would camp out on the Colorado River at Regency two weeks each summer. In her later years, after her husbands death, she enjoyed watching all the older movies on TV and being around her children. She was a faithful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is missed by all who knew her.
