Jacob Pleasant Cagle
His parents were John Henry and Mary Ann (Craig) Cagle. They were from Mena, Ark.

Their children were:

Sons: Willie "Bub" Cagle, Wayne L. Cagle, Billy Gene Cagle, and Raymond Lee Cagle Sr.
Daughters: Anna Edina "Dennie" Cagle Martin, Mary Cagle Berry, Betty Jane Cagle Egger, Sarah Cagle Brooks, and Pauline Cagle Whitley.

Jacob and Edna lived in Arkansas and Texas. The last several years of their lives they lived in Brownwood, Texas. He was a construction bridge carpenter. He helped build several bridges all over Texas including the bridges on Interstate 20 From Clyde, Texas to Odessa, Texas. After slipping on ice and falling off a bridge in Taylor County he was forced to retire.

Following his retirement he enjoyed working in his garden and giving away most of the vegetables he grew. He loved his family and his grand kids were extra special to him. He passed away after having a heart attack at his daughters home in Laurel, Mississippi. He is missed by all who knew him.
