Henry J, Oligny Dies;
Grocer at Watervliet

Funeral services will be held
tomorrow for Henry J.
Oligny, proprietor of Oligny
Brothers service station and
grocery, Arch Street and
Cohoes Road, Watervliet.
Mr. Oligny died Sunday
at his home, 1 Arch Street,
in Troy, he had lived
in Watervliet most of his life.
He was a member of the
Green Island Knights of
Columbus; Father Van Rensselaer
Fourth Degree Assembly;
Vega Caravan, Order of
the Alhambra; Cohoes Elks
Lodge; Vagabond Club,
Green Island; Maplewood
Fire Department and the
Commercial Travelers.
Survivors are four sisters,
Mrs. Florida LaFrance, Lea
and Agnes Oligny, all of
Watervliet, and Mrs. James
Holmes, Troy. He was son of
the late Alfred and Euphemie
Daigneault Oligny.
Services will be held at
8 45 a.m. at Parker Brothers
Memorial, Watervliet, and at
9:30 a.m. in St Jean the Baptist
Church, Troy. Burial will
be in the church cemetery.

o'clock. Friends are invited
and may call Tuesday afternoon
and evening.
