Rhoda Mary Gawith born 4 Sept. 1861, North Lanelshire, England; daughter of Ralph and Agnes Gawith; came to US at age 10 years; settled 7 miles N of Minneapolis; married Omri Eda Ayers on 10 June 1884; had 6 sons & 2 daughters, of whom Willliam Edward died at age 3 months, John Ralph died age 9 years & Agnes Samantha; died age 42 years; died 22 March 1933 near Manchester; buried Highland cemetery at Minneapolis next to husband and sons; survived by sons, David Franklin & Omri E. of Abilene; Noah S. & Oliver James of Talmage; 1 daughter Mary Watt of Talmage; 16 grandchildren; 2 sisters Emily Bremerman & Bertha Lapshire of Minneapolis, Kansas; 2 brothers James Gawith of Gortez, Colo.; John Gawith of Strong City.
