Ronald Sheary
Ronald L. "Ron" Sheary of San Jose, Calif., previously of Cottage Grove, died July 13 of kidney failure. He was 77. No service is planned.
He was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Cottage Grove to Ralph and Margaret "Peg" Sheary.
He graduated from high school in Dunsmuir, Calif., in 1950. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He worked as a construction engineer and vice president in San Jose, Calif., and was retired.
Survivors include cousins in Cottage Grove.
Inurnment will be at Fir Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Arrangements are being made by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
