Army Service No. (ASN): 38157573 Sgt Murry was attached along with his 507th company 1 March 1945 to the 17th Airborne Division. He and his regiment fought in Operation Varsity the largest single day airborne assault in history. He lost his life on March 24th, giving his last full measure of devotion.
