Allene Carpenter Frank, born Nov. 3, 1909, died April 26, 1983. She was born in Payson OK. Was the daughter of Okla. pioneers William B. and Fannie E. Frank. Taught school for over 25 years in the OKC school system, primarily at Lincoln and Stand Watie schools. She attended Phillips University, Stanford University and graduated from CSU. Was presently a member of the Yukon First Christian Church and a former member of Maywood, Lincoln Terrace and Kelly Ave. Christian Churches. Was a member of the Pierian Study Club, OEA, NEA, Okla. Retired Teachers, and Kappa Kappa Iota. Her many friends and family members will remember her for her outgoing nature, her strength and willingness to help other people. Survived by her husband, Leslie E. Boone of the home; 2 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Lonas of Bethany, Margaret Treadwell of CA; daughter, Judy Patrick of Edmond; 2 sons, Robert Boone of OKC, and Dan Frank Boone of Norman; 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Services 10am, Thurs. Guardian West Chapel, interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
