Betty Ruth Cannon, 82 a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, in a local hospital. Betty was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father and mother Darrell and Mamie Pittman.


Survivors: three sons, Larry Cannon, Chattanooga, TN, Marion (Lynette) Cannon, Harrison, TN, Harry (Marquetta) Cannon, Georgetown, TN; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.


Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
