WINNFIELD -- Funeral services for W. L. Malone, 77, were held Tuesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with the Rev. W. L. Holcomb and the Rev. Bobby Hadnott officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery.
Mr. Malone, a native of Dyer, Ark. died Saturday in a Winnfield hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, Walter Dale Malone and Paul E. Malone of Phoenix, Ariz.; five daughters, Mrs. K. M. Nugent of Williana, Mrs. V. R. Wood, Mrs. J. C. Emerson and Mrs. M. E. Nordley [sic Nordbye], all of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Ben Dawson of Fort Smith, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. J. M. Harper of Ozark, Ark.
