RITES HELD FOR WRECK VICTIM

DeQUEEN, Ark. -- Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Eagletown school for Mrs Joyce Lee Flournoy, 20, of DeQueen, who died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday of injuries sustained earlier in the night in an automobile accident at Eagletown.

Elder Linquist of Ardmore, Okla., officiated and burial in the Eagletown Cemetery under direction of Wilkerson funeral home.

Mrs. Flournoy suffered fatal injuries when the car in which she was riding with her husband overturned. She was a native of Eagletown and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Survivors include her husband Daniel Flournoy; one son, Anthony Flournoy, and one daughter, Tanna Lee Flournoy; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Elliott of Denver City, Tex.; her father, J. W. Dennington of San Bernardino, Calif.; two brothers and one sister; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Middlebrooks of Eagletown; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Dennington of San Bernardino.

DEATH CAR

This was the car which Mrs Daniel Flournoy, 20, DeQueen, was fatally injured last Thursday night near Eagletown. Trooper Bob Pogue is shown checking a front tire which blew out after the car went out of control. None of the other three occupants of the car, which was driven by Daniel Flournov, were seriously injured. Damage was estimated at $375.
