"Mrs. Oscar Coleman died Saturday [July 22, 1922] evening at five o'clock at Bonner Springs, Kansas, on the way to the hospital.

Mrs. Coleman was born at Brody [Brodie], California, September 6, 1883. On January 19, 1910 she was married to Oscar Coleman at Atchison, Kansas. To this union were born eight children all of whom survive; they are: Lucille, Leo, Claude, Eugene, Ruth, Ernest, Maria and William. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dagenais of Atchison; also three brothers and two sisters.

Burial occured [occurred] at Atchison, Kansas, Monday [July 24, 1922] morning where Requiem Mass was offered at nine o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church."

[However, a Missouri Death Certificate #2119 was issued by the Deputy Coroner in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri. He did NOT see the patient alive. He reported her cause of death as "septicemia following confinement" confirmed by History and Inspection on the above date and time.]
