ROCKWELL CITY - Pauline Erickson 83, formerly of Ft. Dodge, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rockwell City, with Pastor James Mossman and Pastor Blair Conley officiating. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery, Ft. Dodge. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City.

Pauline is survived by her son Paul (Jean) Erickson of Storm Lake; daughters, Gail (Mike) Folsom of Rockwell City, Barbara (Dennis) Yeazel of Ankeny, and Joyce (Dave) Willis of Cedar Rapids; 15 grandchildren, Lori, Steve, Matthew, Jason, Erin, Travis, Rachel, Troy, Jennifer, Jana, Jill, Trent, Ian, Bryan, and Aaron; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Minnie Ida Jones of Ocala, FL; and sister-in-law Margaret Lucius of TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; son Darrell; Parents, Joshua A. and Bessie E. Abshire Lucius; brothers, Alvin Jr. and Joseph Lucius; and sisters, Doris Kelly, Isabelle Pierce, Catherine Cain, Ethel Jones, Edna Nix, and Marie Wyatt.

Agnes Pauline Lucius Erickson was born Mar. 12, 1927 at Sarasota, FL. She graduated from Summerfield High School in Summerfield, FL. On Oct. 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Charles Erickson at Ocala, FL. The couple made their home in Vincent, Iowa and then later in Ft. Dodge. Pauline was a homemaker. At the age of 40 years, she graduated from Iowa Central Community College with a nursing degree. She then worked at Trinity Regional Medical Center, until her retirement. In 1994, they moved to Rockwell City. Charles passed away in 1999. Pauline was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Ft. Dodge.
