"OBITUARY"
GOSHEN - Delbert J. Getz, 80, of 209 Oakridge, died Thursday noon at Goshen hospital. He had been a patient there for one week, following a stroke.
He was born Aug. 31, 1877, in Waterloo, Ind. He had been a plumber and steamfitter in Goshen for 40 years.
He married Nettie Blosser on Feb. 8, 1906. She survives.
Others survivors includes a son, Russell W. Getz, of Goshen; a daughter, Miss Georgia H. Getz of Marion, Ind.; one brother, Frank Getz, Mishawaka; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Barhydt of Goshen, and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Culp Funeral home, where friends are being receied. The Rev. A. P. Beale will be in charge.
Burial will be in Oakridge cemetery.
