Mrs. Anna Caroline Curry died quite suddenly on her way home from a visit to Caddo Gap. She suffered from heart trouble. Bro. James Holman conducted the funeral services and the remains were interred in Overturf cemetery. Mrs. Curry lived in Gillham several years ago. At present her home was about 10 miles northeast of here.

Anna Caroline Curry (nee Koons) was born in Ohio Nov. 7, 1863. She was married to Isaac Curry on August 27, 1885. To this union were born ten children. One died in infancy, the living children are: Frederick Homer, Ossie Irven, Basil Melvin, Nona Eva, Hargis, David Evastis, Isaac Frenzilla, Hugo Hurby and Gladys Evelyn. Her husband died June 4, 1919, and her daughter Georgia Alverna, died on March 4, 1923. She also leaves three brothers, Fred and David of Du: [sic], Ind., and Ralph of Mt. Vernon, Ill. Also eleven grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. She joined the Baptist church and was baptized at Duff, Ind., 1890, and lived a true Christian life.
