CLARENDON - Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Murphy Memorial Chapel here for James Alonza Robertson, 74, a former Donley County resident.

Joe Crane, a nondenominational minister from Amarillo will officiate. Burial will be in the Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon for Mr. Robertson, who died Saturday in the home of a daughter in Las Cruces, N.M.

Born in Collin County, he had lived about 35 years in Donley County and 30 years in Amarillo before moving to Las Cruces two years ago.

He married Ina Ann Hahn on Dec. 10, 1915, in Brice. She died Nov. 28, 1968.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Shelton of New Bern, Tenn., and Mrs. Bob Nolan of Las Cruces; a son, Ray Robertson of San Antonio; a brother, Andy Robertson of Clarendon; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
