He retired from Sammons Communications; was second assistant chief of Paxtonia Fire Company; a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lower Paxton Twp., and equiptment manager for it's football and majorette programs; and a member of Electrical Workers Union Local 1448.
Surviving are his wife Joanne I. Thompson Kohr; a son, Edward R.II, of Lower Paxton Twp; a daughter, Romayne A. Miller of McKeesport; a brother, Jay Kohr of Warner Robins, Ga.; three sisters, Lillian Miller of Adamsburg, Grace Moore of Cincinnati and Mary Dane of Locust Gap; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Lower Paxton Twp., where the rosery will be recited at 8 p.m.
