Don Edwin Lash is my dear old dad, and he's missed very much by many loved ones.
His mother, Mamie Rosella Reno Lash (1906-1995), died on Don's birthday, just 9 months before he died. His father was John Ralph Lash (1903-1964).
He is a descendant of Christian Joseph Lash.
He graduated from OU and Mom says he often took 21 hours at a time and didn't have to take the final exam...memory like a steel trap. Before he died, he and his wife Margaruite were volunteering for children's organizations and lived in the mountains in Arkansas.
There is a photo of his children that my sister Donna tucked into the pocket of his suit coat at his funeral.
