MIFFLINTOWN - Henry W. Solomon, 82, Brookline Manor Retirement Center, died Sunday in Harrisburg General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Cardy Dorlsbaugh.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ida Sourbeer, Harrisburg.

He was a member of East Waterford United Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, East Waterford Fire Company. He was a veteran of World War I, a past master of William S. Snyder Lodge 756, Free and Accepted Masons, a 50 year member of Harrisburg Consistory, and a member of Zembo Temple, Harrisburg.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the East Waterford United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Eugene Stambaugh officiating. Burial will be in East Waterford Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church from noon Wednesday until the time of service. Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
