Muleshoe (Special) - Services for Ottis C. Petree, 83, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Singleton-Ellis Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Gerald Pepper, pastor of Richland Hills Baptist Church in Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Bailey County Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Singleton-Ellis Funeral Home. Petree died about 4:45 p.m. Monday in West Plains Memorial Hospital in Muleshoe. He had been a Muleshoe resident for the past four years, moving here from Farwell, where he lived since 1940. Petree, a native of Hamilton, was a retired farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church in Farwell and a veteran of WWI. Survivors include two sons, Carroll of Irving and Ormal of Rogers, Ark.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
