William Henry Byers, 67, well-known Littlestown carpenter, died at his home on South Queen street, Littlestown at 9:15 o'clock, Wednesday evening, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis suffered four weeks ago. He had been in failing health for two months.

He was a son of the late Henry and Susan Byers, of near Littlestown, and is survived by his widow whose maiden name was Miss Louisa Gouker, Littlestown, one daughter, Mrs. Myra miller, Littlestown; two grandchildren Irving and Ivan Miller, Littlestown; one sister, Mrs. Nelson Zepp, Deep Run, Maryland, and one brother, George Byers, York.

He was a life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Littlestown. Funeral services from the home Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock, the Rev. D. S. Kammerer officiating. Interment in Mt. Carmel cemetery, Littlestown.
