I've researched this family for years. If you are related, I'd love to hear from you.

This is the same Sarah Davis found in 1860 Hamilton County, Tennessee household with female R. A. (Davis) and William Pogue. 1850 Alabama, this same family lived next door to Sarah and her stepsons in the 1850 Calhoun County, Alabama census.

Richard and Sarah (unknown) Faulk resided in Lowndes Co Al in 1828. Richard died about that time. He was the son of Philip Faulk Sr of Bladen Co NC. Sarah and children moved with Richard's brother Philip Lemuel Faulk to Pike Co As about 1834.

Sarah, a widow, married William Davis 1836, Sarah was counted in Benton County, Alabama census 1840, and as a widow on January 9, 1850 with step-sons Ensley P. and Jasper Newton Davis, their ages 21 and 18.

Then in October 31, 1850 by the years end, I found Sarah counted AGAIN in Pike County, Alabama and in the household of her daughter Rebecca, wife of Lemuel HERRING and their children : Mary age 5, Sarah age 3, William age 2. Sarah's son Calvin is next door with his family Elizabeth age 26, children John 6, Richard 5, Calvin age 4, Mahala age 2, and household also counted a Lucinda Rials age 19 and a Samuel M. Simmons, guess at last name, age 18 and his occupation not readable.

AGAIN - This is the same Sarah Davis found in 1860 Hamilton County, Tennessee household with R. A. (Davis) and William Pogue. 1850 Alabama, this same family that lived next door to Sarah and her stepsons.

I am not sure of her death date or where she might have been buried. Maybe she was buried in Alabama near her daughter Rebecca.
