Helen (Danner) Keim of Spring City Helen (Danner) Keim, 89, wife of the late Melvin K. Keim, of Spring City, died Wednesday evening, October 13, 2010 in the Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Lewistown, she was the daughter of William S. and Ethel (West) Danner. She graduated from Spring-City High School. She was a member of Pughtown Baptist Church for most of her life. Mrs. Keim enjoyed stitching, including needle-point, cross-stitch, and crewel work.
Mrs. Keim is survived by one brother, John W. Danner, of West Chester; four nieces, Judy Prange, of Ocean City, Md., Trudy Patterson, of Browns Mills, N.J., Sandra Confer, of Phoenixville and Debra Quinn, of Downingtown; two great nieces, two great nephews, four great-great nieces and her dear friend Linda Gaynor. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Axsmith and Marjorie Kurtz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, at Pughtown Baptist Church, 780 Pughtown Rd., Spring City, PA 19475. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Eddie J. Smith. Burial will be in the Pughtown Baptist Church cemetery.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chester County S.P.C.A., 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. Condolences may be offered at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
