Florence Eileen was born on September 8, 1947 to Carl Ronfeldt and Leola "Eileen" Stevicks in Gregory, SD. She grew up on a farm outside of Gregory, SD where she learned the value of hard work, the importance of family and close relationship with God. She graduated in 1966 from Gregory High School. Florence was married to John Felton for 15 years and together they had four children.
She was a supportive and active member of Alanon for 30 years. She also served off and on for 8 years as a Sunday school teacher at the First Assembly of God Church in Yankton as well as being involved with the Missionnettes and the Rainbows. She enjoyed scrapbooking, having coffee with friends, babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sweet and forgiving nature, her willingness to help others, and was simply known as "Mom" to too many people to count.
