Florence Eileen was born on September 8, 1947 to Carl Ronfeldt and Leola "Eileen" Stevicks in Gregory, SD. She grew up on a farm outside of Gregory, SD where she learned the value of hard work, the importance of family and close relationship with God. She graduated in 1966 from Gregory High School. Florence was married to John Felton for 15 years and together they had four children.

She was a supportive and active member of Alanon for 30 years. She also served off and on for 8 years as a Sunday school teacher at the First Assembly of God Church in Yankton as well as being involved with the Missionnettes and the Rainbows. She enjoyed scrapbooking, having coffee with friends, babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sweet and forgiving nature, her willingness to help others, and was simply known as "Mom" to too many people to count.

Florence held a variety of jobs but most dealt with housekeeping or the care giving fields. She had worked at Avera Majestic Bluffs for several years but was currently working on the janitorial staff at the Yankton Medical Clinic at the time of her death.

Florence's memory will be cherished by son, Raymond Felton of Brookings, SD; daughters: Carla Felton of Mission, SD, Jonni Felton of Yankton and Carrie Felton of Yankton; 9 grandchildren; mother, Leola "Eileen" (Stevicks) Ronfeldt of Lake Andes, SD; brothers: Norman Ronfeldt of Lake Andes, SD, Derald Ronfeldt of Rapid City, SD and Bill Ronfeldt of Villiska, IA; sisters: Janice Metzger of Columbus, MT, Carla Neuberger of Spearfish, SD and her circle of friends.
