Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
Pallbearers were: Willis A. Tarver, Homer Tarver, Otis Tarver, Richard Volentine, Cecil Volentine, Willie V. Henderson, R. G. Simmons and G. W. Douglas.
Mrs. Volentine is survived by five daughters: Mrs. D. R. Simmons, Mrs. J. N. Tarver, Mrs. J. W. Tarver, Mrs. W. B. Douglas, of Grayson, and Mrs. J. H. Mercer of West Monroe; two sons, A. R. Volentine of Grayson and G. S. Volentine of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Strebeck of Grayson; one brother, Rich McGee of Kelly; and several step-children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
