SCARLET FEVER ADDS ANOTHER VICTIM TO THE LIST OF FATAL AND MALIGNANT CASES--The 3-year old son of Mr. & Mrs. J. O. Archer on North Grant died yesterday afternoon of scarlet fever. The funeral was held at 9 o'clock this morning. Every barber shop in the city was closed from 8 to 9:30. This is the second fatality from scarlet fever and is also the second case of the malignant type. The little daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Archer is just recovering from a three-week illness with the same disease, but it was a milder case. The malignant case must have developed from the other as the house has been under quarantine.
