Delorma M. Holcomb, for thirty years a prominent citizen of Madison, passed away Wednesday morning at about 2 o'clock. Mr. Holcomb was born in Leroy, Lake county, April 26, 1834, a son of the late Marcus and Lovisa Brooks Holcomb, and had he lived until the twenty-sixth, would have been 80 years of age.

When a young man Mr. Holcomb moved to a farm located on the River road in Perry township, and married Jane Hurlbert of Thompson, Geauga county, in 1861. He served in Company E, 171st Ohio Infantry Regiment during the Civil War.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Dello N. Holcomb of Youngstown, O.; Mrs. Frank (Ola) Landphair of Cleveland; and Mrs. Harry (Lora) Rand of Madison.
