Evelyn York, 72, Borger Nursing Center, died Monday, October 29, 1990.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. John Kimbrough, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of Shriner, she had been a Fritch resident since 1945. She was a housewife.

Mrs. York was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ, and a charter member of the TOPS Club in Fritch.

She married F.M. York March 14, 1936 at Comanche.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her husband of the Borger Nursing Center; three daughters, Sharon Lowery of Borger, Mary Lee McFarland of Gustine, Valera Dell Flowers of Dallas; three brothers, W.H. Dearson of Corpus Christi; L.F. Dearson of Gustine; and H.D. Dearson of San Angelo; three granddaughters, Cathy Phillips of Borger; Teresa Lowery of Galveston; and Tara Lowery of Canyon; one grandson, Terry McFarland of Long Beach, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren.
