David O. Sheeley summoned Sunday. David O. Sheeley, 85, former resident of Alpha, died at the home of his son, Charles Sheeley, 325 S. Nicholas St., Dayton, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Death was due to hardening of the arteries and he had been ill six days. Mr. Sheeley spent the greater part of his life in Greene County near Alpha. He is survived by two children: Mrs. Ivy Neatherton, near Xenia and Charles, at whose home he died. A sister, Mrs. Hattie Hunt, Bowersville, nineteen granchildren and sixteen great grandchildren also survive. His wife preceded him in death a number of years. Funeral services will be held at the home of the son, Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock followed by services at the M. P. Church, Alpha, at 2 o'clock. Burial wil be made in Beaver Cemetery.
