JOHN H. BOONE, SR., 73, Indianapolis, died Jan. 21, 2004. John was a truck driver for National By-Products for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. John was a member of Teamsters Local 135. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Conkle Funeral Home, Lynhurst Chapel with calling from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23. Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. John was preceded in death by his wife, Helen "Boots" Boone. Survivors: daughters, Pamela S. Wilson, Monica J. Basham and Cindy Morris; sons, John H. Boone, Jr., David Boone and Daniel L. Boone; step-daughters, Charlene Huddleston and Terry Schauer; sister, Margaret Norris; brother, Joe Boone, Sr.; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, IN.
