She was born Sept. 14, 1949, at Grafton, a daughter of the late Delbert Camden and Eva Macel (Nee Phillips) Weaver.
On May 28, 1971, she was married to Rickie D. Hathaway, who survives at Clemtown community.
Also surviving are one daughter, Miss Trista Hathaway, a student at Alderson-Broaddus College, at home; two sons, Roderick Hathaway and companion, Melissa Zirkle, and Kenneth Hathaway and wife, Christena, all of Clemtown community; one brother, Delbert J. Weaver and wife, Melinda, Clemtown community; one sister, Dorothy Hathaway and husband, Perry, North Canton, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Rickie Hathaway and Andy Hathaway.
Mrs. Hathaway was a 1967 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. She was a homemaker and at the time of her illness was employed at the Philippi Foodland. She was a former employee of Reidbord Brothers. She was a member of the Clemtown United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home in Philippi from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, when Mrs. Hathaway will be moved to the Clemtown United Methodist Church where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Nichols will officiate and interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.
