William "Bill" C. Young was born in Wethersfield, CT on Feb. 11, 1911. He was the oldest son of William Arthur and Louisa Church Young. He was married to Winifred "Freddie" Young for over 50 years. He was the adoptive father of Marvel and William, Jr. and the grandfather of Kurt and Amy.
"Uncle Bill" always made a habit of dressing up as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve and visiting his neices and nephews. This was a tradition of his for many, many years and it always delighted all to see him come...he is missed.
