Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 P.M from Briggs - Gamel Chapel with the Rev.Frank Brooks officiating. Interment was at Townsen Cemetery. Mr. Sims died at 1:20 A.M. Sunday at Lampasas Nursing Home after serious illness of two months. Lampasas County has been home since he was born. He farmed until he retired. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was married July 14, 1917 to Leona Mae Strader who preceded him in death in Oct. 1942.
