The Evening Star, Washington, D.C., Mar. 15, 1910: "FUNERAL OF MRS. BINNIX - SERVICES ARE HELD AT G STREET HOME THIS AFTERNOON - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah J. Binnix, who died Sunday afternoon at her home, 940 G street southwest, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the residence. The remains were later removed to the Sixth Presbyterian Church, where services were held. Interment was in Congressional cemetery. Mrs. Binnix, who was eighty-eight years of age, had been a resident of this city for thirty years. She was born in Ireland."
