"Mim" was a great lady. She taught school in Dillsburg, PA. Met and married Gerald Andrew Weitzel on Sept. 5, 1953 in York, PA; moved to his home in Olean, NY and taught school in Allegany, NY (2nd Grade) for 29 years. Loved by all!
Enjoyed music, singing with Sweet Adeline's and was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church in Olean, NY. She also taught Sunday School. Died of Kidney failure at the Bradford PA. Hospital. Mim was the daughter of Charles J. and Lillian (Bailey) Roland and was a graduate of Elizabethtown College, PA. She taught at Matamoras and Dillsburg, PA for 10 years before she married and moved to Olean, NY. She was predeceased by a brother, Carl Roland. Funeral was held at the Church on Tuesday, March 19, 1996.
