He was born on Oct. 12, 1990, in Warrenton and was a son of Tracy Scott and Lisa Leathers Amos of Stanley.
He was a member of the Stanley United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Corey Austin Amos of Stanley; his grandmother, Ruth Merrick of Alexandria; his grandfather, Chester Leathers Jr. of Brightwood; and a step grandmother, Nellene Smith of Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, at Page County High School by the Rev. Jim R. Wingert and Doug Gochenour.
Burial will be in the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
The family was to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the school.
