Mrs. Dora Elmore, 89, died at her home, 407 North Poplar, at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 1960. Mrs. Elmore had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wise Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. T. R. Hawkins, Baptist pastor from Windom, officiating. Interment will be in the Belmont cemetery, south of Ector.
Mrs. Elmore was born Sept. 13, 1870, in Fannin county and had made her home in the county all of her life. She was a member of the Belmont church.
Survivors are two sons Pringle L. Elmore of Bonham, Horace Elmore of Krum; one daughter, Mrs. Stella McClung of Temple, Okla. six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Nelson Carter, Elam Brown, Fred Brown, Tom Fairchild, Jake Fairchild and Frosty Fitzwater.
