A Borger woman was killed and four others were injured yesterday when four cars tangled in a highway nightmare about three miles east of Borger on the Pampa Highway.
The dead woman, mother of three boys and three girls, is Mrs. Jimmie Lee Dodd, 39, of 503 Michigan. She was a passenger in a car being driven toward Skellytown by Mrs. Ruth Richardson, 707 E. Sixth.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dodd are pending at Simpson's Funeral Home in Borger. Survivors include her husband, Lester E. Dodd of the home; three sons, Lester Lee of Cactus, Duane of Dalhart and Tony of the home; three daughters, Mrs. J.D. Courson of Borger, Mrs. H.L. Ivins of Dallas and Rozelle Dodd of the home.
Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Wilcie Davis of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. L.C. Dodd of Cactus and Mrs. Leslie Rodgers of Norton, Kansas, and three grandchildren.
