"OBITUARY"
GOSHEN - Mary L. Coy, 63, of 3115 Springfield Drive, died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 6, 1990) at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, where she had been a patient since Tuesday after a brief illness.
She was born June 14, 1927, in Goshen. She married Otto Barhydt in December 1946, in Fort Wayne. He died Jan. 7, 1967. She married Eugene C. Coy on Jan 21, 1989, in Goshen. He survives with three sons, Dennis L. Barhydt, LaPorte, and George M. Barhydt and Steven R. Barhydt, both of Goshen; a stepson Phil Coy, Goshen; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Louis Ditton and Henry Ditton, both of Fort Wayne, and Carlence W. Ditton, Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Lewis J. Clifton of Calvary Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
Mrs. Coy was a graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne and moved to Goshen in 1946. She worked at Evan's Grocery for 20 years, then in the meat department as a packer at Everett's Supermarket for six years. She retired in 1989.
