Mrs. Aleshire, who was nearing her 50th birthday was a daughter of Eld. Joseph Foster, deceased, for many years a well known Brethren minister, of near Luray.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Miss Hollis, R.N., Harrisonburg; Carson Aleshire, Luray; Robert, Daniel, Calvin, Louis and Miss Ruth, at home; a sister, Mrs. Emma Mayes, near Long and brother, Eld. Joseph Foster, near Bridgewater, also survive.
A brother, Jacob E. Foster, and Mrs. Mattie Jenkins are deceased.
She had been a consistent member of Mt. Zion Brethren since early girlhood. Her funeral was held Thursday at Mt. Zion Brethren Church, with her pastor, the Rev. A.J. Caricofe, in charge of the services. Burial at Mt. Zion church cemetery.
