"OBITUARY"


ELKHART--Barbara A. Kindig, 62, of 1701 Prairie St., died at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 24, 2004) at Elkhart General Hospital after an illness.

She was born Dec. 29, 1941, in Elkhart to Raymond and Phyllis Barhydt, now both deceased. She married Thomas H. Kindig on April 3, 1979, in Elkhart.

He survives with two sons, Robert R. Kindig of Elkhart and Mark (Sherry) Aryea of Mishawaka: four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Don ( Phyllis) McHuge of Elkhart.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Barhydt.

There will be no visitation before 11 a.m. Tuesday memorial service at Central Christian Church, officiated by the Rev. Bill Riggs of the church. Cremation has taken place, and Westbrook-Metz and Clouse Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Mrs. Kindig, a homemaker, gradated from Concord High School.
Memorials may be given to American Lung Association.
