Notes from "Ramblings" by Lloyd Thomas Harris, Jr.:

My grandmother Roach was a Hoot and her mother was a Whitmore, and I believe her mother was a Hahn. She and my grandfather are buried in Waterville, Ohio. Grandfather was born in 1860 and died in 1932. Grandmother was born in 1867 and died in 1928.
I remember when she died, because when she laid in state in their home, Dad made all of us kids go up and touch her, and that was pretty scary for us.
