Arlous Arthur Acree, of Adkins, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at the age of 90.
Mr. Acree was married on Feb. 10, 1937, to Aliske Hartmann, who passed away simultaneously with him. He was a homebuilder.
Preceded in death by: parents, Myrtle Woodridge and Ben Walter Acree.
Survivors include: daughter, Joyce Fields (Ron); sons, Robert Acree (Gayle) and Arlous Arthur Acree Jr.; sisters, Alma Jean Lee, Mary Ima Schuk, Mamie Cearley, and Willie Ruth Cavendar; brother, Ben Walter Acree Jr.; 5 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 26, from 2-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Finch Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Alan Delafield officiated the service.
Interment followed in the Kicaster Cemetery in Kicaster.
