Stan and Effie had no children, but had lots of loving nieces and nephews and many good friends and neighbors. They enjoyed a good time and even arose at dawn on the 4th of July to shoot firecrackers from their front porch. They loved making candy at Christmas time and sharing it with friends and neighbors.
Effie loved the color red. She adopted all the kitties in the neighborhood and her favorite friend was a loving gray cat named "Stormy".
