PAINT ROCK - Services for M. C. Kemp, 74, member of a pioneer Concho County ranch family, were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Paint Rock Baptist Church with burial in Paint Rock Cemetery.
Mr. Kemp died at his home in Paint Rock at 4 a.m. Sunday after a long illness.
He was born July 15, 1885, in Paint Rock and lived all(sic) his life in Concho County. He ranched and farmed until he retired several years ago because of ill health.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Marshall Kemp of St. Louis Mo., and Tom Kemp of Austin; a sister, Mrs. J. B. Stout of Elk City, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
