Irene (Ethridge) King, 90, of Dublin died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 at Comanche County Medical Center.
She was born on July 19, 1919 in Moore, Okla. to Grover Cleveland Ethridge and Ethel Irene Smith.
On Aug. 6, 1939, she was married in Oklahoma City to John Elmer King who preceded her in death. In life, King worked as a nurse.
She is survived by two sons, John E. King of Charlotte, N.C. and Kelly Bradford King of Dublin; daughter, Dustryn Todd of Dublin; brother, Roy Ethridge of Lake of Pines, TX; sister Frances Gerhardt of Placentia, Calif.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. at New Dublin Live Oak Cemetery, Mike Trusty officiating.
