An Obituary from "Gatesville Messenger & Star Forum," Thursday, 1-28-1971:

Bailey S. O. Curry, 74, of Gatesville died at 9:30 a. m. Friday in the local hospital. He had been in failing health for some time.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Sunday in Scott's Funeral Home chapel and were conducted by Minister Rolland McLean. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Mr. Curry was born in Coryell County Dec. 6, 1896, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Curry, Central Texas pioneer couple. He was reared in this county and moved to South Texas in 1920. He married Miss Agnes N. Dreyer Dec. 24, 1924.
Mr. Curry returned to Gatesville in 1948 and worked at the State Schools for Boys for several years before retiring in 1961. He was a member of the West Main Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife of Gatesville; one son, Billy Ray Curry of Robstown; four brothers, E. E. Curry, Malcolm Curry, O. C. Curry and F. F. Curry, all of Gatesville; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Edwards of Gatesville, Mrs. Rossie Culp of Killeen and Mrs. Isa Alford of Gatesville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers for Mr. Curry's funeral were James Curry, Bobby Curry, Don Curry, Virgil Curry, Raby A. Alford, Grady V. Culp, Bentley Curry, Jack Alford and Bill Alford.
