Mrs. Boone died Sunday, April 7, in a Blackwell, Okla., hospital where she had been visiting her son, R.W. Boone.
Interment was in the Lakeview cemetery under the direction of the Estes Funeral Home of Memphis.
Emily Alice Arnold was born December 21, 1864, near Springfield, Ill. She became a member of the Methodist church at the age of 12. In 882, she came with her parents to Texas and they resided near Fort Worthin Tarrant County.
On February 3, 1885, she was united in marriage to Edwin Howard Boone. Mr. and Mrs. Boone and their family moved to Hall County December 10, 1930, and lived near Lakeview for a number of years. He died June 20, 1941.
Survivors include the following children: John H. Boone of New York City, R.W. Boone of Blackwell, E.Ray Boone of New York City, Mrs. Earl Hinton of Drumwright, Okla., Mrs. J.C. Elledge of Mannford, Okla., Mrs. G.R. Brown of Enid, Okla., Mrs. Bryan Adams of Lakeview, and Mrs. N.A. Hightower of Memphis. All the children were present for the services except Mrs. Hinton, who was ill at her home.
Flower bearers were Mrs. Clyde Hill, Mrs. Dudley Adams, Mrs. M.D. Kennard, Mrs. C.R. Webster, Mrs. C.W. Broome, and Mrs. Bob Roberts.
Out-of-town relatives present for the funeral were Dr. and Mrs. H.L. Boone of Laurel, Miss.
