VIC BOONE, 80, DIES LEAVING LARGE FAMILY - Victor Ivo "Vic" Boone, 80, retired farmer, died at his home near New Haven at 5:10 p.m. Friday, February 26. He had been ill only three weeks. He was the father of 15 children, 11 of whom survive. He had 67 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. His wife died two years ago. Surviving are the following sons and daughters, Mrs. T. J. Sweat and Mrs. W. O. Sweat, Lebanon Junction; Mrs. F. E. Hall, Buechel; Mrs. Joe Cecil, New Haven; Mrs. Delime Boone, Howardstown; Mrs. Paul Hagan, New Haven; Miss Elizabeth Boone, Gethsemane; J. M. and J. C. Boone, Lebanon Junction; David Boone, New Hope; Felix Boone, New Haven; one brother, W. H. Boone of New Hope. Funeral services were held from St. Vincent de Paul Church, New Hope, Monday at 9 a.m., Rev. John Bancroft, pastor, officiating at the Solemn Requiem Mass. Rev. Fred J. Gettelfinger was deacon and Rev. Lawrence Boone, sub-deacon. Interment was in Trappist Cemetery.
